Alternative Text 

Alternative text (alt text) is a written description that communicates the meaning or purpose of an image to users who cannot see it. Images such as charts, diagrams, screenshots, and instructional visuals often contain essential information. Without accurate alt text, students using assistive technologies, such as screen readers, may miss important concepts or context.
